Columbus Paddling Club
is a community of Central Ohio paddlers dedicated to organizing paddling trips, providing mentorship to new paddlers, and creating friendships.
We share a love for water and a passion for paddling on it. We are inclusive towards all… whitewater and flat water, beginners and advanced, and all hand-powered watercraft - kayaks, canoes, inflatables and SUP boards.
Our goal is to have FUN on the water!
We are a volunteer-driven, non-profit club… Run by paddlers, for paddlers!
Where We Paddle

WHITEWATER
We travel all over the region to paddle the best whitewater rivers. Come join us on the Youghiogheny River or Slippery Rock in PA, the New River or Gauley River or Cheat River in WV, or maybe for a local whitewater run on the Olentangy River or Rocky Fork here in Ohio… just to name a few.

FLAT WATER
Come and enjoy a relaxing day of paddling on flat/moving water while spotting local wildlife like herons and turtles. You will find us on many local rivers including the Big Darby Creek, Kokosing River and Mad River.

MULTI-DAY TRIPS
Have you ever wanted to venture out on a river for a week while camping along the sand-filled river banks? Come along with us as we pack up for long-mileage trips in places like Florida or Missouri.
ESTABLISHED 2021
We founded this club with hopes that it will connect the paddling community of Central Ohio and instill a sense of pride, enthusiasm and togetherness in all who wish to take part.
