It's time for a big New experience in our Newest national park! The plan is to paddle the New River Canyon section one day and the New River Dries section the other day, given suitable levels. The Dries will be a new experience for me FWIW2U, but someone on the trip is likely to have done it before. Camp out, dinner out on Saturday night. FWIW, the New is a big step up from the Yough - being able to roll in bouncy conditions is important!
