Slippery Rock (Class II / III)

  • Columbus Paddling Club Columbus, Ohio 43202 USA (map)

Organizers: Tammie Edwards, Karen Reinhart, & Mark Noltimier

We’ll paddle the upper and lower sections of Slippery Rock Creek: Rose Point to the Eckert bridge (II-III) for more experienced paddlers, and Eckert bridge to Harris bridge (II-II+). Join us for one or both days, and either the whole river or just the lower.

The lower section is a great river for newer paddlers who already have some moving water experience (basic eddying and ferrying, and a wet exit). A roll is not required for the lower section (Eckert to Harris) but it’s encouraged for the upper section.
